This role involves performing CT scan examinations for patients of all ages, ensuring accurate imaging and patient safety.
Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, assessing patient conditions, positioning patients correctly, and maintaining examination rooms, supplies, and records.
Technologists must demonstrate proficiency in equipment use, radiographic quality, and radiation safety.
Additional duties include participating in departmental performance improvement and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with an associate degree or equivalent; SCRQSA license (current graduate or student with limited license); BLS CPR certification within 7 days of hire.
Preferred experience includes 1-2 years in the field, with ARRT-CT certification or registry eligibility.
Skills required are excellent patient care, technical knowledge of CT procedures, attention to safety, and strong communication.
