Role Overview:
Responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services in an in-facility setting, reporting to the Director of Rehab. The Physical Therapist assesses patient needs, develops personalized recovery plans, and delivers therapy to restore and enhance physical abilities. They serve as both healer and educator, training patients and caregivers to promote independence and mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
– Conduct patient evaluations and create tailored treatment programs
– Deliver physical therapy interventions to facilitate recovery
– Collaborate with colleagues and make referrals as needed
– Educate patients and caregivers for sustained independence
– Contribute to patient-centered, innovative rehabilitation services
Qualifications & Skills:
– Valid Physical Therapy license in applicable state(s) or proof of eligibility
– Master’s degree in Physical Therapy or related field, or equivalent experience
– Minimum of 5 years of progressive PT experience if holding a Bachelor’s degree
– Ability to adapt to diverse patient needs and work in various settings
– Strong collaboration, communication, and teaching skills
