Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: Provides occupational therapy services to patients across various health and illness states, utilizing everyday activities to promote participation and wellness in diverse settings such as home, school, and community.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess and address physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory aspects affecting performance and participation.
  • Deliver direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team, supporting health, well-being, and activity engagement.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers to ensure continuity of care post-discharge.
  • Participate in consultative services within the organization and community.
  • Contribute to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the relevant state.
  • Strong understanding of physical, cognitive, psychosocial, and sensory factors impacting daily activities.
  • Excellent communication and patient education skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and adapt to various clinical settings.
