Overview: The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care. They work within organizational policies, demonstrating professional growth and accountability, and ensure standards of practice are maintained while coordinating patient care activities of the assigned staff to deliver quality nursing services.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of a nursing program
- At least 1 year of telemetry experience with EKG reading skills
- Current Georgia Registered Nurse license or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Preferred: hospital nursing experience, bachelor’s degree, advanced certification in specialty areas
