Key responsibilities include: organizing staff, supervising unit operations, demonstrating clinical expertise, monitoring patient vital signs, administering medications, and responding to patient needs promptly.
Effective communication with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, residents, and families is essential. The role involves conducting RN assessments, leading emergency responses, maintaining accurate documentation, and managing staffing and census reports.
Qualifications and skills: current RN license in New York, preferably with experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or Alzheimer’s care. Supervisory experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate patience, compassion, excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills, and work well under pressure.
