Registered Nurse (RN) – Float Pool – Nights

Role Overview:

As a Float Registered Nurse, you will provide exceptional patient care across 65+ inpatient units in a leading academic medical center. This role offers broad exposure to diverse patient populations and specialties, with opportunities for professional growth and continuous learning. You will float to various clinical settings, including high-acuity and critical care areas, demonstrating adaptability and strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities include:

Assessing, diagnosing, planning, and evaluating patient needs

Developing individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

Educating patients and families on illness management and post-discharge care

Promoting safety, quality, and regulatory compliance

Communicating effectively across care teams

Maintaining current knowledge of nursing best practices

Qualifications & Skills:

Current RN license
At least 2 years of recent acute Medical-Surgical nursing experience
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and adaptability
Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments

Preferred qualifications include ICU/critical care experience, BSN, or float pool experience.
