Role: Part-Time Occupational Therapist in Home Health
Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate patients’ functional status, activities of daily living, fine motor skills, and home environments.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with state laws, evidence-based techniques, and medical directives.
- Monitor and document patient responses to therapy, communicating changes to healthcare team members.
- Conduct diagnostic assessments to determine functional abilities and prognosis.
- Perform home assessments and recommend adaptive equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians to develop and modify plans of care.
- Provide care regardless of patient demographics or socioeconomic status.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Current Occupational Therapy license in the practice state.
- Valid driver’s license, vehicle insurance, or access to public transportation.
- Preferred: CPR certification, ability to manage multiple tasks independently, strong communication and organizational skills.
