Role: Provides direct medical-surgical nursing care, ensuring adherence to organizational policies and protocols.
Responsibilities include:
- Applying standards of nursing practice to enhance patient care and quality of life.
- Establishing effective relationships with patients, families, and the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans.
- Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
- Considering physical, cultural, social, economic, spiritual, and developmental factors in care management.
- Collaborating with team members and advocating for patients through effective communication.
- Educating patients and families on health maintenance and comfort measures.
- Mentoring colleagues and applying evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs.
- Performing point-of-care testing and other duties as assigned, ensuring safety and professionalism.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, valid RN license, and BLS certification. No prior experience required.
Skills: Strong communication, assessment, collaboration, and clinical judgment, with physical ability for mobility and patient handling.
