Role Overview:
The Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse (LVN/LPN) provides clinical support and nursing care under the supervision of providers and RNs. Responsibilities include performing procedures such as injections, medication administration, EKGs, and phlebotomy, assisting with patient education, coordinating care, documenting assessments, and ensuring a safe, confidential environment in compliance with standards and policies. The role involves preparing patients, collecting data, relaying information to providers, managing medications, and maintaining infection control and documentation accuracy. Certification in IV therapy is preferred.
