Job Summary
The role involves providing patient care by utilizing the nursing process under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals or a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities include: coordinating patient care across departments, maintaining professional accountability, and ensuring quality care delivery.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent experience with licensure
- Valid LPN license and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Experience level can vary from new to experienced LPNs
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Preferred: IV certification within one year of hire
Additional requirements: may include certifications such as ACLS, PALS, PEARS, or other unit-specific credentials, depending on the department.
