Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality in patient treatment.
Responsibilities: Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided by colleagues, coordinate patient care with interdisciplinary teams, uphold patient rights and confidentiality, and perform duties aligned with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN), current RN licensure in the state or compact, and Basic Life Support certification. Additional certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, and others may be required based on the department.
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, push, or pull 50 lbs regularly, and perform prolonged standing, walking, and various physical movements like reaching, bending, and kneeling.
