Role: Coordinates the delivery of high-quality nursing care across the patient lifecycle, manages operational issues during shifts, and provides clinical support as needed.
Responsibilities: Ensures effective patient care, communicates departmental and staff concerns to leadership, and serves as a resource for staff guidance and assistance.
Qualifications:
- Graduate from a nursing program (required); Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a hospital setting (required); 2+ years preferred
- Valid RN license in the state; multistate licensure acceptable
- Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, PEARS, and specialty certifications as applicable
- Additional certifications such as PALS for pediatric care and advanced specialty certifications are required based on unit needs
