We are seeking a registered nurse to provide direct patient care in a specialized Neuro ICU setting, focusing on complex neurological conditions such as traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and spinal cord injuries.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Promoting patient and family-centered care through education on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in ongoing professional development.
- Developing and documenting personalized care plans with clear goals, communicating effectively across care teams.
- Assessing physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs, considering patient preferences and barriers to involvement.
Qualifications and skills include:
- Active RN license.
- Nursing diploma or associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
- Experience in ICU is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment, demonstrating alertness and safety awareness.
