We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to provide direct and indirect surgical care, assisting surgeons during operative procedures across various specialties.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and setting up sterile fields, instruments, equipment, and supplies efficiently and accurately.
- Scrubbing on procedures from simple to complex, adapting to surgeon preferences, and maintaining readiness for routine and emergency cases.
- Anticipating intraoperative needs, managing unexpected events, and providing timely interventions.
- Mentoring and precepting staff and students, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring effective communication.
- Participating in quality improvement and safe patient care practices, including on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications include:
- Associate’s degree or Surgical Technology certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
- Open to new graduates.
