Seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care under supervision or alongside registered nurses in a fast-paced surgical trauma unit.
Responsibilities include:
Utilizing the nursing process to deliver comprehensive patient care
Coordinating care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
Performing head-to-toe assessments, telemetry reading, IV insertions, wound, catheter, trach, ostomy, and chest tube care
Ensuring professional accountability for patient outcomes
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Valid LPN license with IV certification as per state requirements
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire
Experience preferred but not mandatory
