Join a fast-paced medical surgical telemetry unit as a Registered Nurse, utilizing the nursing process to provide patient care, evaluate care effectiveness, and coordinate with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing head-to-toe assessments, telemetry monitoring, and specialized procedures such as NG tubes, IV insertions, chest tubes, trach, and wound care.
- Ensuring high-quality patient care aligned with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications:
- Graduate or upcoming graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current RN license in the state or within a compact licensure agreement.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or completion within 30 days of hire.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and perform various physical tasks.
Key duties:
- Providing direct patient care across day and night shifts, with rotational weekends.
- Adapting to a high-acuity environment focusing on surgical, GI, Urology, and ENT patients.
- Participating in ongoing learning to develop critical nursing skills.
