Registered Nurse- Cardiac/Neuro

Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides safe, patient-centered care using the nursing process, evaluating care effectiveness, and coordinating with interdisciplinary teams. They uphold patient rights, maintain confidentiality, and act in alignment with organizational standards.


Responsibilities: Care for neurological and cardiac patients in a specialized unit, including stroke, brain injury, seizures, post-craniotomy, spinal injuries, and stable cardiac patients such as post-catheterization or pacemaker patients. Evaluate and support care plans, ensuring effective patient outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program (AD, Diploma, or BSN)
  • Current RN licensure in the state or with a compact license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, TNCC, or others based on unit requirements

Skills & Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting.
