Position Overview:
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinates patient care across departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality, aligning with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Key Responsibilities:
– Deliver nursing care in GI/Infusion units
– Collaborate with healthcare team to coordinate patient treatment
– Maintain compliance with standards and protocols
– Perform physical tasks including lifting, standing, and mobility activities
Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduate of an accredited nursing program
– Valid RN license in the state or compact licensure
– BLS certification, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or ENPC based on unit requirements
– Ability to perform physical demands of the role
– Experience and preferred certifications are advantageous
