Role: Provides patient care, assists in planning and coordinating departmental operations, serves as a clinical resource, and performs managerial duties as delegated. Acts as a staff nurse when needed, aligning with organizational mission and standards.
Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, current RN license, and BLS certification. Additional unit-specific certifications may be required. Requires a minimum of 2 years’ patient care experience; supervisor experience and a bachelor’s degree are preferred.
Responsibilities: Supports department operations, provides direct patient care, and acts as a resource for staff and patients. Performs physical tasks including lifting, standing, walking, and bending to fulfill duties effectively.
