Role: Provides assistance to surgeons before, during, and after surgical procedures as a registered nurse first assistant (RNFA).
Responsibilities: Positions patients, assists with visualization, tissue manipulation, hemostasis, wound closure, and applies evidence-based practices tailored to patient needs. Ensures safety and performs additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Completion of an RNFA program or equivalent, at least two years of RN experience in advanced surgical specialties, and required professional licenses/certifications (BLS, RN license, CNOR).
Physical Skills: Constant standing, walking, speaking, and visual acuity; frequent lifting and repositioning of patients and equipment; occasional driving and physical movements like bending and stooping.
