Registered Nurse – Medical Oncology

Role Overview:
A Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions while coordinating with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and address patients’ physical and psychological needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
  • Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and documentation standards
  • Supervise care delivered by LPNs and CNAs
  • Participate in clinical team conferences and communicate compassionately with patients and families

  • Qualifications & Skills:
    – Graduation from an accredited Nursing program
    – Current RN license in practice state
    – BLS/ACLS certification upon hire
    – Physical dexterity, ability to lift and transfer patients, and effective communication skills
    – Ability to operate medical equipment and navigate busy clinical environments
