Registered Nurse – Medical Oncology

Role Overview:
A Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. They utilize evidence-based practices, technology, and therapeutic interventions while coordinating with the healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and address patients’ physical and psychological needs

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Ensure compliance with clinical guidelines, policies, and documentation standards

Supervise care delivered by LPNs and CNAs

Participate in clinical team conferences and communicate compassionately with patients and families

Qualifications & Skills:
– Graduation from an accredited Nursing program
– Current RN license in practice state
– BLS/ACLS certification upon hire
– Physical dexterity, ability to lift and transfer patients, and effective communication skills
– Ability to operate medical equipment and navigate busy clinical environments
