We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility. The role involves operating CT scanners to produce diagnostic images, preparing and positioning patients, following safety protocols, and collaborating with radiologists and healthcare staff. Responsibilities include maintaining equipment, documenting procedures, and ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Operate CT equipment to capture cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
- Prepare and explain procedures to patients, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Adjust technical parameters for optimal imaging.
- Maintain equipment and troubleshoot issues.
- Follow safety standards to minimize radiation exposure.
- Accurately document patient and procedural information.
- Work effectively with medical professionals to provide timely diagnostic services.
Qualifications include:
- One year of recent CT experience.
- Valid Radiology license per state regulations.
- Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).
Preferred qualifications: ARRT certification and additional licenses as required.
