We are seeking a skilled Long Term Care RN for a travel assignment in a healthcare facility.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing resident health, monitoring changes, and implementing appropriate care plans
- Administering medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Providing skilled procedures such as wound care and IV therapy
- Supervising LPNs and CNAs, delegating tasks appropriately
- Educating residents and families on treatments and chronic condition management
- Documenting care, resident progress, and health changes
- Responding swiftly to emergencies and coordinating with healthcare teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, infection control, and regulations
Qualifications include:
- At least one year of recent RN experience in long-term care
- Valid RN license per state regulations
- Current BLS/CPR certification
Required skills:
- Critical thinking, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and computer skills
- Physical ability to move equipment and assist residents
- Ability to work under pressure, follow instructions, and demonstrate professionalism
