Travel CT Tech Summary
Role: Operate CT scanners to produce diagnostic cross-sectional images, prepare and position patients, and ensure safety and image quality. Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams, maintain equipment, and follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure. Document procedures accurately and adapt to various equipment and protocols.
Responsibilities: Set technical parameters, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, and provide compassionate patient care. Maintain detailed records, adhere to safety standards, and assist with other duties within the scope of practice.
Qualifications & Skills: One year recent CT experience, valid radiology license, BLS certification; preferred ARRT certification. Must possess critical thinking, strong communication, physical and technical motor skills, visual acuity, and the ability to work under pressure. Effective teamwork and adaptability are essential.
