Role: Medical Physicist supporting Radiation Oncology, Medical Imaging, and other radiation-related departments.
Responsibilities:
- Perform IMRT and conventional 3D treatment planning.
- Conduct weekly patient chart reviews and participate in chart rounds.
- Perform in-vivo dosimetry and patient-specific IMRT QA.
- Verify treatment plans with second checks and manual calculations.
- Conduct monthly testing of measurement equipment and plan Low/High dose Rate treatments.
Qualifications:
- MS in Radiological Sciences or Medical Physics with at least three years of experience.
- Board certification in Therapeutic Radiological Physics and a professional license in New York.
- Knowledge of radiation physics, radiobiology, treatment planning systems, accelerators, brachytherapy, and radiation safety.
Skills: Strong understanding of radiation physics, safety procedures, and treatment technologies.
