Role Overview: The Registered Nurse assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized nursing care for adult and geriatric patients, adhering to nursing standards. They work within a regional float pool, providing care across multiple facilities and units, including Med/Surg, Telemetry, Stepdown, and ICU. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide quality patient care across multiple hospital units
- Float between facilities, adapting to different care settings
- Utilize theoretical knowledge to inform practice and decision-making
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications & Skills:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure in applicable state or compact license
- Recent bedside RN experience: at least 1 year for Med/Surg, 2 years for ICU or specialized units
- Certifications: BLS required for all; ACLS for critical care
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient movement
