Role Overview:
As a vital member of the healthcare team, the registered nurse applies professional nursing skills to provide comprehensive patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
Responsibilities include:
Promoting evidence-based practices and developing individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Performing assessments, implementing interventions, and documenting patient progress to achieve desired outcomes.
Managing clinical equipment, troubleshooting issues, and providing patient education tailored to age and comprehension levels.
Coordinating interdisciplinary care, prioritizing tasks, and advocating for patients when necessary.
Ensuring patient safety by adhering to policies, safety goals, and quality standards, while participating in process improvements and performance initiatives.
Communicating effectively within the team and with patients, providing shift reports, and addressing patient/family needs promptly.
Qualifications and Skills:
– Valid RN license and BLS certification
