We are seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to women before, during, and after childbirth, including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal stages.
- Monitor vital signs and assess for high-risk issues in mothers and newborns during labor and delivery.
- Educate and support patients and their families throughout the birthing process.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Active RN license and degree from an accredited nursing program.
- Recent acute care Labor & Delivery experience (minimum 18 months).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and AWHONN.
Key Duties:
- Ensure medical and emotional needs of patients are met.
- Monitor and respond to potential high-risk conditions.
- Support mothers and families post-delivery.
