Role: ICU Registered Nurse responsible for delivering critical care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, monitor, and respond to patient conditions, operating advanced life support equipment.
- Administer complex medications and treatments following critical care protocols.
- Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and interpret results.
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and emotional support, documenting all interventions accurately.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain proficiency through ongoing education and adhere to infection control and safety standards.
- Educate patients and families about care and recovery processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- One year of recent ICU experience and valid RN license.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications; CCRN and other critical care certifications preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to perform demanding tasks and work effectively under pressure.
- Proficiency in clinical procedures, documentation, and technology.
