Role Overview: Seeking an experienced Stepdown Unit Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. The RN will assess patient needs, utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate care, and document patient progress and plans. Responsibilities include analyzing data, identifying nursing diagnoses, and educating patients and families. The role requires active RN license, accredited nursing degree, BLS certification, and 18 months recent experience in an acute care PCU/Step-down setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patient conditions and identify physiological and psychosocial changes.
- Document nursing diagnoses, care plans, and interventions.
- Evaluate and revise patient care plans based on ongoing assessments.
- Initiate and evaluate patient and family education.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Active RN license and BLS certification.
- Experience in acute care step-down units.
