Registered Nurse – PRN Days

This nursing position involves coordinating, implementing, and planning patient care accurately and timely.
Position requirements include a nursing diploma or degree, licensure in Tennessee, and BLS certification within 90 days. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, NVCI, and specialty certifications may be required based on the unit.
Preferred experience varies by department, including emergency, pediatric, critical care, and oncology.
Nurses must work independently and collaboratively, utilizing equipment like telemetry, medication systems, and communication tools.
Key responsibilities include performing comprehensive assessments, developing individualized care plans, educating patients, administering treatments, documenting accurately, and reassessing patient conditions.
They handle medication management safely, accept charge responsibilities, and maintain a professional environment.
The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to stand and lift for extended periods, and flexibility to work in diverse settings with patients of all ages.
