Overview

Performs MRI scans following professional and departmental standards, ensuring patient safety and image quality.

Responsibilities

  • Reviews consultation requests and consults with physicians as needed.
  • Greet patients, explain procedures, and confirm identification.
  • Prepare and administer contrast media, perform MRI protocols, and evaluate images.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and safety inspections in compliance with regulations.
  • Recognize emergencies, initiate code procedures, and provide first aid or CPR.
  • Coordinate scheduling, assist with exam decisions, and manage patient data and documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • One year MRI experience preferred; completion of Point of Care Testing training.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, strong communication, confidentiality, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of electronic health records.

Credentials & Education

  • ARRT-MR and BLS certifications required.
  • Associate’s Degree in a related field.

Starting at $31.83/hr, with a maximum of $49.34/hr.
