This role oversees the delivery of high-quality nursing care across all age groups and manages operational issues during shifts.
Provides clinical care as needed based on patient census and communicates patient care updates, departmental matters, and staff concerns to leadership.
Serves as a resource for staff guidance and support.
Qualifications include a graduate of a nursing program (Bachelor’s preferred), at least 1 year of hospital nursing experience (2+ preferred), and current RN licensure in Georgia or multistate.
Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Chemotherapy/Biotherapy, NRP, and PEARS.
Additional specialty certifications such as advanced field-specific credentials and fetal monitoring are required within specified timeframes.
Emergency Department nurses must obtain PALS within 30 days if not already certified.
