RN Med Surg – Patient Care Coordinator

The registered nurse in Department 7A is responsible for delivering safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and organizational training.

They must demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and understand department policies to collaborate effectively with the healthcare team and ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications include being a new graduate or a licensed RN in good standing in Arkansas, with a preference for BSN.

Apply basic nursing knowledge and skills to meet standards of care.

Act as a full partner within an interdisciplinary team.

CPR certification is required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS may be necessary based on unit needs.

Specialty units will provide specific education as needed.

This role offers a 72-hour bi-weekly schedule, with shift hours from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
