This registered nurse position in the 9B-Cardiac department involves providing safe, therapeutic, and compassionate patient care using the nursing process and organizational training.
The RN is expected to demonstrate clinical competence, critical thinking, and a strong understanding of department policies and procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Qualifications include being a new graduate or a licensed RN in Arkansas, with a preference for a BSN. The nurse applies basic skills to meet care standards, collaborates effectively within an interdisciplinary team, and is not currently participating in the Clinical Nurse Advancement Program.
CPR certification is required, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or NALS provided as needed. Specialty units may require specific education. The position offers 72 hours bi-weekly and operates during day shift hours (6:30 am – 7:00 pm).
