Education requirements include a High School Diploma or G.E.D., with a preferred program of study in an accredited nursing program leading to LVN licensure, and required licensure to practice in the state.
Experience should include at least 2 years of nursing experience, with a preference for specific relevant experience.
Necessary certifications and licensures include a valid LVN license with authorization to practice in Texas, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 90 days of hire), and advanced certifications such as ACLS (required within 90 days).
