It requires independent practice, strong clinical judgment, and accountability. A BSN is required, with WOCN/WO certification preferred (must be willing to obtain if not certified).

Minimum qualifications include an RN license and a nursing diploma or associate’s degree; a bachelor’s degree and 2 years of experience are preferred.
