The Language, Speech and Hearing Specialist provides assessment, diagnosis, and individualized therapy for students with communication challenges to support their learning.
Conducts assessments and interprets results to develop and modify students’ IEP goals. Provides remediation through individual and group instruction, ensuring classroom success. Consults with staff, parents, and other professionals to address students’ communicative needs and coordinate services. Participates in bi-annual voice clinics and maintains compliance with regulations. Maintains records, pursues ongoing professional development, and provides staff and parent training. Qualifications include a state-required credential. The position is full-time or part-time, with competitive pay and benefits, and requires in-person work in San Jose, CA.
