The Advance Practice Provider (APP), including Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants, plays a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care.
They evaluate, diagnose, monitor, and manage patients using advanced assessment skills in collaboration with their supervising physician.
**Qualifications:**
Postgraduate degree, licensure as an Advanced Practice Clinician or Physician Assistant, BLS, ACLS.
**Experience:**
None required.
**Skills:**
– Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, and communication skills.
– Proficiency in computer applications such as Excel and medical record charting.
**Mental & Emotional Requirements:**
Ability to manage stress, make decisions under pressure, handle multiple priorities, and work independently in various environments.
**Working Conditions:**
Exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases; working with computer monitors.
**Physical Requirements:**
Medium work involving prolonged sitting, standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and performing repetitive motions. Good manual dexterity, vision, hearing, and coordination are essential.
