Flight Surgeon

Seeking a Flight Surgeon in Selfridge, MI, to provide medical services for Coast Guard personnel at various locations.

Qualifications include ensuring personnel fitness for worldwide duty, diagnosing and treating illnesses, making referrals, promoting health, and managing medical records using SOAP format.

Requirements:

Medical degree from an accredited U.S. school

At least 24 months recent aerospace medicine experience

Active medical license, Board Certified/Aerospace Medicine certification, BLS, ACLS, DEA registration

Credentials review with CV, certifications, and references

Perform routine physical exams, maintain communication, and follow regulations

The role involves full physician duties, including patient evaluation, treatment, and documentation, supporting Coast Guard aviation and sea duty standards.
