This role is for a Physician responsible for independently providing clinical services in an urgent care setting, including treating acute conditions, diagnosing, prescribing, and performing minor procedures.
Requires graduation from an accredited medical school, 2-5 years of post-residency experience, and board certification or eligibility in Family or Emergency Medicine.
Must hold an active medical license and have experience in urgent care or emergency medicine, with adult and pediatric practice preferred.
Key duties include patient exams, medical histories, diagnostics, diagnoses, treatment, patient education, vaccinations, and supervising PA/NP providers remotely.
Work shifts are typically 8-12 hours; no supervisory roles but may oversee PA/NP credentialing and privileges.
Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills are essential, along with proficiency in electronic medical records.
