The Nurse Practitioner will assist with managing Pulmonary Critical Care Service Line patients, supporting Pulmonologists and consulting physicians in admissions, rounds, consults, history and physicals, and discharges.
Requirements include a graduate degree from an accredited nursing or Physician Assistant program, current Tennessee licensure, national certification in a specialty area, and continuing education.
Certifications needed are DEA for prescriptive authority, ACLS, and BLS. Skills required include assessment of critically ill patients, intubation, central and arterial line placement, ventilator management, and adherence to care protocols.
Preferred experience includes 1-3 years in healthcare, with critical care experience. This full-time position is located at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in the Pulmonology Unit, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
