Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care at a healthcare facility. This flexible role involves treating patients during approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your existing practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, supporting return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. You will offer both non-surgical and surgical services for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal work injuries, communicate with employers, and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO graduation, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery, and malpractice insurance.
