Seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a part-time on-site role. This position involves treating patients during a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex cases, supporting return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also engage with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO graduation, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery. Must have medical malpractice insurance.
