Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role. The position involves treating patients on-site for approximately 4 hours weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing complex cases, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams to provide surgical and non-surgical care for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also communicate with employers and participate in case management, making a meaningful impact on patient recovery.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery, and malpractice insurance. Compensation is based on a revenue share model.
