We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care during 4-hour weekly or biweekly shifts, complementing your practice.
The role involves managing complex cases, facilitating return-to-work programs, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams for both surgical and non-surgical treatments related to orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You’ll also engage in case management and communicate with employers.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, state licensure, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in orthopedic surgery. Malpractice insurance is required.
