The Nurse Practitioner (NP) role involves
assessing designated patients through physical exams and consultations via in-person, phone, or electronic means.
Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care and smooth workflow.
Reviews medical records, orders diagnostic tests, and communicates effectively with other providers.
Establishes relationships with patients, families, and staff, respecting cultural and ethical beliefs.
Delegates tasks appropriately, evaluates team care, and ensures safety in emergency situations.
Maintains professional accountability, participates in staff development, quality improvement, and research activities.
Utilizes technology for documentation and communication.
Requires 3-5 years of experience, a Master’s degree in Nursing, and relevant California licensure and certifications.
