We are seeking an orthopedic surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor to provide on-site care for approximately 4-hour shifts weekly or biweekly, complementing your current practice.
Responsibilities include managing medically complex patients, facilitating return to work, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams on non-surgical and surgical treatments for orthopedic and neuromusculoskeletal injuries. You will also engage with employers and participate in case management.
Qualifications:
- Experience with work-related injuries preferred
- Medical license and unrestricted DEA license
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
- Malpractice insurance coverage
