Seeking an orthopedic spine surgeon as a 1099 independent contractor for a flexible, part-time role.
Responsibilities include treating medically complex patients, aiding in return-to-work and functional restoration, and collaborating with medical and therapy teams. Treatments can be non-surgical or surgical, with active participation in case management and communication with employers.
The position involves approximately a 4-hour shift weekly or biweekly, allowing for schedule flexibility to complement your private practice.
Qualifications include experience with work-related injuries, licensure in the state, MD or DO degree, unrestricted DEA license, and board certification or eligibility in orthopedic spine surgery. Malpractice insurance is required.
