The Nurse Manager oversees all functions of the nursing unit, ensuring quality patient care and operational efficiency.
Manages staffing, admission processes, and surge plans in collaboration with leadership and House Supervisors. Supports staff development through orientation, training, and professional growth initiatives. Addresses issues proactively, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and fostering a positive, service-oriented environment. Optimizes resource utilization, manages staff schedules, and promotes teamwork and engagement. Participates in strategic planning and maintains a focus on clinical excellence, service quality, and staff accountability. Qualifications include a minimum of 3 years clinical experience, RN licensure, an associate’s degree (bachelor’s preferred), and leadership experience.
Work hours vary; full-time position located at Stonewall Jackson Memorial Hospital.
